Floods kill 22 in Poland

The death toll from flooding in Poland rose to 22 Thursday as torrential rains swelled major rivers to levels unseen in more than a century. A heavy rainstorm is flooding the underground rail system and has all but paralyzed on-ground public transport in the capital Warsaw. Many homes and farmsteads have been inundated by the swelling waters.
