Floods in Brazil

Brazil ’s state of Santa Catarina has been flooded by torrential rains. Four hours of pouring rains surpassed the usual monthly amount of precipitation, 161 ml. The wind speed reached 80 kph. Wave’s by the coast are as high as 5 meters. 50 thousand people in 13 towns have been affected by the disaster.
