Elderly Russian woman denied stay with daughter in Finland

Finland is deporting the 82-year-old Russian woman Irina Antonova, who has spent two years with her daughter in Helsinki. Appeals against the deportation have been declined on the grounds that parents are not immediate family under Finnish law. The daughter is married to a Finn and is a long-time national of Finland.
