EU prepared to discuss Euro-Atlantic security treaty

The European Union acknowledges faults in Europe’s security safeguards and is prepared to give serious consideration to the Kremlin initiative for a legally-binding Euro-Atlantic security treaty. The Russian EU Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov told this to the media Friday three days ahead of the next Russia-EU summit in Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia.
