Death toll from Tajikistan floods reaches 15

The death toll from floods and mudslides in Tajikistan has reached 15, about 40 people are missing. According to the republic’s Emergencies Ministry, the flood resulted from torrential rains which caused the Tebalei River to burst its banks. It destroyed 12 bridges, inflicted substantial damage on more than 1500 residential buildings, washed out roads and inundated crops.
