Cosmonaut ship undocking from ISS delayed
The undocking of a Soyuz ship carrying Russian cosmonauts Alexander Skvortsov and Mikhail Kornienko and US astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson from the International Space Station is delayed, Russian space officials said Friday.
"During pre-flight checks some small glitches were uncovered, and so cosmonauts are trying to remedy the situation," officials in the Russian mission control center near Moscow said.
The Soyuz TMA-18 spacecraft was due to undock from the ISS at 0535 Moscow time (0135 GMT) and land on Earth at 0855, officials said earlier.
According to officials quoted by the ITAR-TASS news agency, unless the team undocked the craft shortly the cosmonauts would have to wait another three hours to undock.
