Copernicus reburied in Frombork

Frombork in northern Poland has reburied the remains of Nicolaus Copernicus, five years after discovering them in the city’s Roman Catholic Cathedral where the great astronomer served as a canon. His new resting place is in a more prominent part of the church. Copernicus died in 1543.
