The Raspadskaya coalmine in Siberia’s Kemerovo Region will be restored, with all jobs preserved, says the director-general of the Raspadskaya Coal Mining Company Gennady Kozovoi. According to him, the commercial coal reserves will last the mine for another 80 years. By now the fires where methane had accumulated and flared up, have been extinguished in the mine galleries.
