Belgian writer Crowther wins 2010 Lindgren Award

Belgian writer and painter Kitty Crowther has won the 2010 Astrid Lidgren Memorial Award, the world’s largest prize for children’s and youth literature. An award ceremony took place in Stockholm on Wednesday, with Queen Silvia handing over a 515,000-euro bill to Krauter, who illustrated 35 books, published by Belgian and French printing houses.
