Another journalist attacked in Moscow: reports

Another journalist has been beaten up in the Moscow region, two days after a savage attack on a leading reporter shocked Russia, reports said Monday.

Anatoly Adamchuk, who writes for the Zhukovskie Vesti newsaper in the Zhukovsky area of southeastern Moscow, was beaten early Monday, leaving him with head wounds, his colleague Sergei Grammatin told Moscow Echo radio.

A security source confirmed the incident but said the details were not yet clear, the ITAR-TASS news agency reported.

The attack came after leading reporter for the Kommersant newspaper Oleg Kashin was brutally attacked in central Moscow early Saturday, forcing doctors to put him in an induced coma.
