Settling into a new home and surroundings can be a rollercoaster ride at times. Finding support by joining a group or club can help connect you to like-minded people and discovering more about the expat scene. On 2 October, the expat-focused fair aims to help you.
The Expat Fair, providing an ideal chance to discover more about an expat life in the Netherlands, is once again being held at the beautiful Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam.
The process of moving abroad can often be a lonely one and can leave expats with an overwhelming desire to meet new people and enter a new social scene. With a wide variety of groups attending the fair on Sunday 2 October – clubs and entertainers such as Easy Laughs, Womens Business Initiative, The Britsh Society of Amsterdam, Stichting The English Theatre, and others – fair visitors will be welcomed by friendly faces and given the chance to expand their social circle.
For the whole family: Childcare facilities
Children and parents are also well catered for, with childcare providers such Hestia Kinderopvang providing information and advice to parents regarding suitable childcare, playgroups and fun activities for kids who are settling in to the international scene.
Hestia will also be hosting a dedicated childcare area at the Expat Fair, with games, arts and crafts, drinks and snacks.
Best of all, this fair is free! Don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity to learn about the many opportunities in the Netherlands for you, your family and friends.
