Danish cartoonist Kurt Westergaard 75 has told a journalist of a Dutch current affairs programme he will publish his memoirs in November.
The cover of the book will feature Westergaard’s controversial cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed with a bomb in his turban. Riots broke out across the world when this cartoon was first published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands Posten in 2006. The cartoonist has received death threats ever since and is being closely guarded. However, early this year a Somalian man succeeded in entering his home. Mr Westergaard survived the attack by locking himself into a panic room.
