Dozens of Muslim students set the Dutch flag on fire on Wednesday to protest against the controversial Fitna.
During an hour-long rally, some of the protestors pelted the Dutch consulate's compound with rotten eggs, forcibly removed the Dutch flag from a pole in the consulate's front yard and set it on fire, the state-run Antara News Agency reported.
How ironic isn't it ?
All these Muslims who are getting agitated, just because Mr. Wilders has expressed his opinion (in a 10 minute documentary), mentioning what he thinks of them, are getting violent, burning flags and such. They are just PROVING his whole point. Some people just stay stupid I guess. These will be the same people, who'd not hesitate to start migrating here, and start a** kissing at the first given opportunity.
These actions from these "Muslims" are not Islamic, but Muslims who take it into their own hands. A flag does not represent one persons opinion. A flag represents a nation. If Gert Wilders is the whole of Holland, then he should have his own flag! I am a Muslim, my father is a born Dutchman and this type of behavior on both sides is wrong. Islam says repel evil with what is good. Burning a flag only creates more problems, not solutions and not an image that is true to Islam. Islam is about attaining peace and submitting to Almighty God, not creating enemies from around. The Islamic community should fight these people with Kindness and Love, not Hatred and Revenge. If we fail to spread Islam properly then expect confused people. Peace!
