AMSTERDAM - Amsterdam hosted the Hemp Festival on Sunday, marking the 10th anniversary of the Cannabis College, an advice centre for soft drugs located in the Dutch capital.
Visitors learned about the hemp plant’s different uses. Sinterklaas was also present, passing out cannabis seeds. On Monday and Tuesday the festival will present exhibitions and film screenings.
The festival comes one week before the 1 December debate in The Hague on legalisation of soft drugs.
