19 November 2008

THE NETHERLANDS - Oil giant Royal Dutch Shell and the government are launching an exchange programme for managers.

The aim is to improve management on both sides, and for staff to increase their understanding of each others' business. It is hoped the project will improve cooperation between Shell and the government.

Shell managers will be seconded to government departments and government officials to Shell for periods of one to two years.

The project is the brainchild of the Government Manager of the Year Foundation.
