Desiree Burch is a New York ‘Alt-Comedy Diva,’ whose ‘psychologically charged performances combine humor with guts, intimacy – and a healthy dose of audience participation.’

‘52 Man Pickup’ stars Ms. Burch as a dominatrix comedian and is illegal in 90 countries. With a deck of cards, Burch lets the audience ‘Go Fish’ through her 52 hilariously true and uncensored encounters with firemen, artists, male cheerleaders – and their respective rankings. Who’s a King? Who’s an Ace? Who’s a lowly 2? Whether audience members recognise themselves in Desiree’s cards – or find themselves next to her onstage – they soon learn: being ‘naked’ invokes more questions than answers.
