Gifted Minds International School launches in the Netherlands

The philosophy behind GMIS stems from the notion that every child is capable of transforming the world to another level via means of integration and interaction with the global community and nature. As a result, the school aims to be the frontier provider of education and to bridge the international and local community.

GMIS is a premium International pre-school and primary school that advocates ‘child first’ policy, intellectual vitality and pedagogical integrity that empowers children. We support a sense of wonder, play and curiosity in our print rich, learning and stimulating environment. The concept of idea centeredness for a child directs facts into ideas, transforming their potential to new heights of exploration and invention. With prior knowledge, children are able to construct new information and enhance skills from experiential inquiry based learning that will rethink and refine their developmental domains during their formative stage of learning.

Gifted Minds’ ethos and policies are specifically designed to promote the best interests of every child. As such, we celebrate diversity by embracing international students, parents and staff. 

Our school extends its educational services ranging from three to seven years of age at this stage. The medium of instruction for education is in English. We host a plethora of educational programs which includes weekdays, weekends and after school programs that caters to the ever expanding needs of holistic activities that inspire joy, talent and learning.

Recent research have shown significant advantages when children learn additional language. Not only does it promote brain stimulation but also develops understanding of diverse cultures and strengthens problem solving and creative thinking skills. Additional languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi, Dutch and other languages) are incorporated in our transdisciplinary curriculum. We also provide bilingual classes according to the language demands (French, Dutch, Spanish, and German).

One of our enrichment programmes, which is a parent and toddler session (18 months – 2.5 years) is available where parents can enjoy bonding sessions and also learn how to reinforce the skills taught in school in their homes.
