World Cup: Germany 0-0 Spain at half-time

7th July 2010, Comments 0 comments

In the World Cup, the first half of the semi-final between Germany and Spain has ended with the score at 0-0.

Spain, which play their first-ever World Cup semi-final, dominated possession and created a number of opportunities but failed to capitalise. Towards the end Germany slowly came back and had at least one dangerous shot. In the last minute, a German striker went down in the Spanish penalty area but the referee correctly refused to award a penalty.

The winners will face the Netherlands in Sunday's final.
