About 700 volunteers are helping out regular staff at the three TNT Post Parcel Service's sorting centres during the holiday season.

THE NETHERLANDS – The money they earn will be donated to the United Nations World Food Programme.

Many of the volunteers are relatives or friends of the regular staff.
In the last few weeks of the year, TNT is working at maximum capacity, processing an estimated half-million parcels a day.

The World Food Programme provides food aid to 90 million people, more than half of them children, in over 80 countries.
