THE HAGUE –Ministers Maxime Verhagen (foreign affairs) and Bert Koenders (development cooperation) have plans to make a joint visit to Sudan before the end of the year.

They had already voiced approval of the Security Council resolution passed this week to send a peace-keeping force to Sudan.

The cabinet is looking into whether it is possible to contribute a military support unit to the peace-keeping force. A military hospital may be a possibility.
