Van Gogh works travel to Korea

23 November 2007 OTTERLO/AMSTERDAM – The Kröller-Müller Museum on the Hoge Veluwe and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam have together loaned out 65 works of Vincent van Gogh to the Seoul Museum of Art in Korea.

OTTERLO/AMSTERDAM – The Kröller-Müller Museum on the Hoge Veluwe and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam have together loaned out 65 works of Vincent van Gogh to the Seoul Museum of Art in Korea.

The Dutch museums announced this on Friday. The works are on display as part of the exhibition "Van Gogh, Voyage into the myth," which starts this weekend and will run until mid March.

The Van Gogh Museum has sent 23 works to Korea, including Irises. The Kröller-Müller Museum has lent 20 drawings and 22 paintings from Van Gogh, including The Sower.
