THE NETHERLANDS - Feyenoord mid-fielder Danny Landzaat and FC Twente goalkeeper Sander Boschker will not be going to Austria and Switzerland for the European Championships.

National coach Marco van Basten has told the players they have not been placed in the Dutch team. Preparations for the Championships will resume on Monday in Hoenderloo.
On Wednesday, van Basten will submit the final selection of 20 field players and three goalkeepers to UEFA, the Union of European Football Associations. One more player will be dropped from the selection, probably either Mario Melchiot or Khalid Boularouz.
On Saturday the Dutch squad won a comfortable 3-0 victory against Ukraine in a pre-Championship friendly match.
