Two found dead in car on A50

7 February 2005, AMSTERDAM — A man and a woman were found dead in a car parked in the emergency lane on the A50 motorway near Hattem on Tuesday morning. Long traffic delays were reported as police launched an investigation Foul play is suspected in the deaths and police transported the car to a nearby police station for further investigation.

Foul play is suspected in the deaths and police transported the car to a nearby police station for further investigation.

The car was initially found on the Apeldorrn-bound lanes of the Zwolle-Arnhem motorway.

The vehicle was reported to police by a passing motorist at about 4am. The road was then sealed off until about 9am as police checked it out.

The identity of the two victims is not yet known.
