Three British cash dispenser raiders die in crash

The men allegedly raided a cash dispenser earlier and were making their escape on the motorway when their car crashed.

Driel – Three British men who allegedly raided a cash dispenser in Driel were killed in a motorway car crash after their car overturned on the motorway.

Two other men in the car were seriously injured.

The five men are believed to have raided the cash dispenser in the eastern Dutch village of Driel. They managed to escape the police after a brief car chase.

However, half an hour later, their car crashed on the motorway and overturned. Police found several thousand euros in the car.

One of the men, a 25-year-old from London, died at the scene of the accident on Saturday morning. The four others in the car, two of whom died in hospital on Sunday, were also in their twenties and came from Liverpool.
