Dutch violinist Jansen wins her third Edison award for her 2007 Bach Inventions and Partita CD.

THE NETHERLANDS - The Edison Awards Public Prize for Classical Music has been awarded to Dutch violinist Janine Jansen for the third time. She was presented with her award at a gala in The Hague on Thursday evening.

The public voted overwhelmingly for her 2007 Bach Inventions and Partita CD. She also won the 2004 and 2005 Edison Classic Public Awards for her recordings of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and the Mendelssohn and Bruch violin concertos.
