Teenager sets self on fire

AMSTERDAM - A 15-year-old from Soest was seriously injured on Thursday morning after setting himself on fire. He used a flammable liquid to start the fire.
The fire broke out at about 9.30 am in the bedroom of a home on the Disselboom. Neighbours noticed the fire and rushed in. They put the boy under a shower. He was later transported by helicopter to the burn unit in Beverwijk, according to regional newspaper the Gooi en Eemlander.
