Teenage musicians perform live at RNW

Four teenage finalists of the Princess Christina Competition will perform live at Radio Netherlands Worldwide. Violinist Joep van Beijnum, saxophonist Dineke Nauta, pianist Ghil Bae and guitarist Tuur Segers will play here on Saturday, 11 September. All four finalists won prizes in last spring's competition.

The Princess Christina Competition aims to promote classical music, jazz and composition among youngsters aged between 12 and 19. Some 400 teenagers participate every year.

Broadcast The live concert at RNW is held every year. The programme broadcast live between 14.00 and 16.00 local time can be heard on internet and via satellite. Listeners in Europe can tune in on the usual short-wave frequencies. In western and central Europe the frequency is 5955 kHz, in southwestern Europe it is 9895 kHz. A video report will be posted at our website following the concert.
