State visit to Turkey nears end

2 March 2007, AMSTERDAM – Queen Beatrix, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima conclude their four-day visit to Turkey in Istanbul today. The Topkapi Museum and the Istanbul Modern Museum are on the schedule for today.

AMSTERDAM – Queen Beatrix, Prince Willem-Alexander and Princess Máxima conclude their four-day visit to Turkey in Istanbul today. The Topkapi Museum and the Istanbul Modern Museum are on the schedule for today.

The queen also will visit the new building of the Netherlands Institute in Turkey, while the Prince of Orange and his wife will have a discussion with Dutch and Turkish-Dutch youth on the notion of intercultural dialogue. The royal delegation will lunch with the young people later in the day at the Palais de Hollande, the Netherlands’ consulate general. This brings an end to the state visit.
