The faith in human nature is restored as De Telegraaf reports on a mother, Elisabeth de Geus, who lost her daughter's "dowry" in the train.

The 57-year-old left a bag containing EUR 1,300 in the train while on her way to spend the money on wedding preparations for her daughter in Amsterdam.

She had saved the money in five and ten-euro notes in a shoebox. Normally she wouldn't have more than EUR 50 on her.

"And this time, stupid, stupid, I leave it in the train!" Luckily she received a phone call the same evening from an honest finder.

Mrs De Geus is over the moon according to the paper, she had thought she would never see the cash again.
