On Thursday, the flu claimed the lives of a 5-year-old girl who already had health problems and a 35-year-old man who had not.
Earlier this week, a 3-year-old girl, two women (one aged 21 and the other 53) and two men (aged 58 and 64) died as a result of the flu (known as Mexican flu in the Netherlands).
So far, 611 people have been hospitalised, with nearly half the admissions occurring this week, showing infections are on the increase.
This week's death toll brings the number of people who have died in the Netherlands after being infected with A(H1N1) virus to 17, reports the National Institute of Public Health (RIVM).
