Second power failure in Rotterdam

4 June 2007, ROTTERDAM – A power failure stopped train service on Monday morning between Rotterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Blaak, Rotterdam Noord and Schiedam Centrum. Rail infrastructure manager ProRail announced that service between these stations resumed at about 11 am. ProRail announced at noon however that a power failure between Rotterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Noord had disrupted service once again, making train travel between Rotterdam and Gouda impossible.
