OSS/VEGHEL - All the students of primary school de Toermalijn in Heesch who were admitted to hospital on Thursday are back home. A spokesperson for the municipality announced this.

The school remains closed today but classes will resume on Monday.

Dozens of children and one teacher became ill on Thursday because students had used too much hairspray when dressing up for the musical they were performing. Many of the children fainted, others had trouble breathing, nausea, and headache.

12 children and the teacher had to be brought to hospital. Four children spent the night there but were released on Friday.
