In the game between FC Groningen and Excelsior, Daan Bovenberg scored the equaliser for the team from Rotterdam 2-2 in the final minutes.

Dusan Tadic scored in the first half for Groningen and Excelsior goalkeeper Cees Paauwe helped Groningen out with an own goal. Shortly after the break Ryan Koolwijk put a penalty in the net for Excelsior.

The game between NAC - Vitesse ended 1-all. Play was suspended for a few minutes to clear snow off the lines.

It is uncertain whether Sunday's match between VVV Venlo - Utrecht will go ahead due to heavy snow.
