Rotterdam's Museum Night on Saturday was a sell-out, attracting 12,000 visitors.

ROTTERDAM - This year, 45 institutions were open from 20:00 on Saturday till 02:00 on Sunday.

Museums and art galleries were not the only organisations opening their doors out of normal hours.

Feyenoord Football Club's ground, De Kuip, was offering guided tours to members of the public, and people were able to get their eyes tested free at the city's Eye Hospital.

The town hall was also open and some visitors took advantage of the opportunity to get married during Museum Night.
