The imminent retirement of large numbers of baby boomers is expected to give a strong impulse to the job market.

Between now and 2016 an estimated two million people will leave the labour market, most of them as a result of reaching the retirement age.

Researchers Frank Cörvers and Didier Fouarge on Tuesday published their report: 'The labour market categorised by training and profession until 2016’.

Their report shows that there will be a strong increase in demand for personnel in care, agriculture and transport.
