Retired police officers give tours in Amsterdam

5 April 2007 , AMSTERDAM – Retired police officers will be giving guided tours of the shady districts of Amsterdam, starting on Tuesday 10 April. During the city walks, the former police officers will be speaking about the ‘exciting times’ they experienced when they were still on active duty, said Crimi Tours who organises the tours, on Thursday.

AMSTERDAM – Retired police officers will be giving guided tours of the shady districts of Amsterdam, starting on Tuesday 10 April. During the city walks, the former police officers will be speaking about the ‘exciting times’ they experienced when they were still on active duty, said Crimi Tours who organises the tours, on Thursday.

Specially trained retired police officers will take interested tourists to such notorious districts as Zeedijk, China-town and the Amsterdam red light district.

Tourist can even select the kind of tour they would like. Tours include ‘Rebellious Amsterdam’, ‘Murder Walks’ and ‘Crime by Bike’.
