An official remembrance service for the victims of the Queen's Day attack on the royal bus in Apeldoorn is to be held next week in the town's Orpheus Theatre.

APELDOORN - An official remembrance service for the victims of the Queen's Day attack on the royal bus in Apeldoorn is to be held next week in the town's Orpheus Theatre.

The mayor of Apeldoorn, Fred de Graaf, who announced the news on Friday, also said that members of the royal family would definitely attend.

Who they will be is not yet known. The service is to be held on Friday 8 May.

The mayor said that Queen Beatrix is being kept constantly informed about the condition of those injured during the attack. Of the ten who were injured, two are still in critical condition.
