AMSTERDAM – The justice department is going to "keep close tabs" on the suspects released after a blunder by the court in Den Bosch, the AD reports.

"We will keep a close eye on several of the six suspects," said the press officer for the justice department Mariska Wijnbelt.

Wijnbelt: "We are very concerned that someone who should actually be held in custody might cause a problem. It was agreed with the police that a close eye has to be kept on the situation. Measures have been taken to prevent a confrontation with the victims from taking place, for instance."

The suspects had to be released on Wednesday when it emerged that an unqualified judge had handled their cases.
