THE NETHERLANDS - The Dutch consumer association Consumentenbond has received more than 2,500 complaints about cable company Ziggo within 24 hours.

Ziggo was created recently by the merger of three companies: Casema, @Home and Multikabel.

The Consumentenbond had opened a special complaint line to keep track of the type of complaints and the size of the problem.

The 2,500 calls received is an exceptionally large number for such a short period.

About seven out 10 people who contacted the Consumentenbond complained about Ziggo's internet connection. Customers also complained about the long waiting period on the company's helpdesk phone line.

This is the worst company ever. Very bad customer experince. The technicians are lying, just trying to perform their plan. They never approached my house, and just lying that they called me and went to my house.
