AMSTERDAM - Radiohead will come to Amsterdam for an open air concert next summer. The British band will play the Westerpark on 1 July, concert organiser Mojo announced on Tuesday. Tickets will go on sale on Saturday.

The band with frontman Thom Yorke recently released its new album 'In rainbows', which fans could download for any price they felt reasonable from the band’s website. On 28 December the album will also be available in shops.

Radiohead’s concert will be one of a series of open air concerts that Mojo is organising for the second year in a row next summer.

Other bands to play at the Westerpark will soon be announced. Last summer hosted performances from Björk, James Morrison and John Legend, among others.
