Radical imam distances himself from Sharia4Holland
Radical Imam Sheikh Fawaz Jneid and the executive of the as-Soennah mosque in The Hague have distanced themselves from the organisations Sharia4belgium and Sharia4Holland.
The Hague imam says the two organisations consist of young people who want to impose Islamic law in the Netherlands and Belgium. In a written statement, Sheikh Fawaz said:
In parliament, the Freedom Party has asked Interior Minister Piet Hein Donner questions about Sharia4Holland. The party wants the minister to ban the party. The National Coordinator for Counter-terrorism has said he is aware of the organisation's activities, but as yet sees no reason to take action because no punishable offence has been committed.
