Premier League leaders win in injury time

Following PSV's example on Saturday, number two in the Dutch premier league FC Twente only just managed to secure its 2-1 win against Feyernoord in injury time.

FC Twente looked like it would be losing points in its match at home against Feyenoord on Sunday, after Gill Swerts scored the first goal of the match just after the break. But Twente's Wout Brama equalised just before the whistle and substitute Bryan Ruiz scored the winning goal in injury time with a header. FC Twente is just one point behind league leader PSV.

Ajax has also managed to keep PSV's lead small. In an away match against NAC Breda, Siem de Jong scored just 15 minutes into the game.

A shot by Vurnon Anita hit NACs Rob Penders' leg before going into the net in the second half. Miralem Sulejmani secured the victory in the final stages of the match. The 0-3 win puts Ajax six points behind PSV with 41.

FC Groningen won convincingly an away derby against fellow northern team SC Heerenveen with 4-1.

ADO The Hague beat Excelsior away 1-5 with similar ease.
