Premier League leaders AZ have let a victory chance slip as they had to settle for a 2-2 tie against Ajax.

AZ were up 0-2 in the Amsterdam ArenA but then let the home team come back after Eyong Enoh was sent off the pitch when he got a second yellow card.

In the first half, AZ took an early lead with goals by Brett Holman on 14 minutes and Roy Beerens 22 minutes.

But just two minutes into the second half, Ajax’s Miralem Sulejmani brought the score to 1-2 by converting a penalty. Theo Janssen scored the decisive equalizer on 82 minutes.

Despite the draw, AZ are still six points ahead of Ajax. cl
