Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas is to design a museum for the art collection of fashion house Prada.

The museum will be built on the site of a deserted brandy distillery in Milan, Italy.

Koolhaas will design three buildings, including a tower with exhibition rooms.

Designer Miuccia Prada has purchased hundreds of modern art works in recent years and wants to exhibit them. The museum will be finished in three years time.

Rem Koolhaas has already designed a shop for Prada in New York.
