Policy programme expected on Thursday

11 June 2007, THE HAGUE – The cabinet will present its policy programme in The Hague on Thursday. The programme includes the details of the plans agreed upon in the coalition agreement reached this spring between Christian democrats CDA, Labour PvdA and ChristenUnie. After being sworn in, the ministers and state secretaries decided to first tour the country and talk with social organisations, lobby groups and citizens for 100 days. The ideas gathered during this period have now been worked into the policy

THE HAGUE – The cabinet will present its policy programme in The Hague on Thursday. The programme includes the details of the plans agreed upon in the coalition agreement reached this spring between Christian democrats CDA, Labour PvdA and ChristenUnie.
 
After being sworn in, the ministers and state secretaries decided to first tour the country and talk with social organisations, lobby groups and citizens for 100 days. The ideas gathered during this period have now been worked into the policy programme, which includes about 70 objectives.

Parliament is expected to debate the policy programme with the cabinet next week.
