13 July 2007, AMSTERDAM – Dutch and German police recently uncovered an international drug smuggling network centred around Amsterdam-Zuidoost.

AMSTERDAM – Dutch and German police recently uncovered an international drug smuggling network centred around Amsterdam-Zuidoost.

23 suspects have been arrested in the Netherlands. Police have confiscated a total of 7.7 kg of cocaine, 1 kg of heroin, 319 g hashish and more than EUR 150,000 in cash after searching a number of different locations.
 
A spokesperson for the Amsterdam police announced this on Friday. 53 people were arrested in Germany. German police also found 36 kg of cocaine and a half million euro.
