AMSTERDAM – Police have received about 15 tips so far on the case of two children who were killed in their home in Roosendaal over the weekend.

The tips came in after a broadcast of Bureau Brabant, a regional programme that calls for the public’s help in tracking down people, and reports in other media.

The national missing/wanted persons programme Opsporing Verzocht plans to devote attention to the case on Tuesday evening as well, unless the children’s father is found before the live programme tonight, a police spokesperson said.

The bodies of two children aged 4 and 6 were found in a home on the Jakobijnberg in Roosendaal on Sunday. Police assume their death was the result of a crime and consider the father a suspect. He cannot be found however.

Police say they expect more tips in the course of the day. They say they are almost 100 percent certain that the case will be highlighted on Opsporing Verzocht this evening.
