BERGEN – The police plan to question all 150 guests who attended a party on Saturday night in Bergen, Noord-Holland, after a 21-year-old Alkmaar man was fatally injured at the event. A spokesperson for the police said this on Monday.

The Alkmaar man died a violent death, though the police still do not want to release any details.

The victim was found at about 5.30 am on Sunday morning near a residence on the Herenweg, where the party was held. The man was seriously injured.

Bystanders and police who had been called tried to resuscitate the victim, until paramedics took over the rescue attempts. The man died of his injuries after being taken to hospital.

Police arrested two men after the incident. They were taken to the police station for questioning and are being detained, a spokesperson for police reported.

"There was enough reason to suspect they had something to do with the man's death," the spokesperson said.

He said the investigation will take some time, since all the guests at the party must be questioned.
