Police arrest 12 in drug raids
Police have arrested 12 people in connection with organised drug-related crime. A spokesperson said on Sunday morning that the suspects, including men and women aged between 21 and 44, were taken into custody following a number of raids on Saturday.
Authorities seized 300,000 euros in cash, two weapons, six cars, one motorbike, a money-counting machine and administration during searches in the suspects’ homes, which were spread throughout a number of towns in the central province of Utrecht.
Two marijuana plantations with some 1,300 plants were also uncovered during the raids.
