AMERSFOORT – The police detained a 50-year-old man in Amersfoort on Wednesday after he had called on girls to contact him for a photo shoot. The man had put up flyers in the city saying that he was looking for ‘nice young girl models aged between 10 and 13 for a couple of photo shoots in connection with his school assignment’.

The public prosecution department (OM) announced on Thursday that it would start an investigation into this man. In the flyer the man had written that he was a student at the Utrecht School for Higher Professional Education but the school does know this person.
It is not yet clear how many girls have become victim of the man. Police decline to say what the man exactly did with them.
